Astrophysical Applications of the VGT-CIT Framework: Stellar Core Back-Reaction and Ringdown Phenomenology
In this work, we apply the unified framework of Vortical Geometrodynamics Theory andCosmic Influx Theory (VGT-CIT)—first developed on cosmological scales and formalised inits 5D geometric foundations in—to the extreme thermodynamic and hydrodynamicenvironments of evolved stellar cores, with a particular focus on the carbon-oxygen core ofred supergiants such as Betelgeuse. We resolve long-standing dimensional and scaleambiguities in extra-dimensional gravity by introducing a formal distinction between thefundamental global coherence parameter, 𝒞, and its dimensionful operational representationthrough the Coherent Torsion Mechanism (CTM), denoted as 𝛯CTM, scaled via a metricconforming warp factor to prevent non-physical subatomic core collapse. In this framework, the background cosmic influx tensorial density (ℐ𝑅) acts as the primary multidimensionaldriver, modulated locally by the Vortical Constraint Algebra (VCA).Through an observational sensitivity projection mapping via template signal injectionconducted on the gravitational-wave merger events GW150914, GW190521, andGW200129, we establish a reproducible sensitivity bound on the effective extra-dimensionalscale of 𝑟5 ≤ 1.2 × 10−19 m at the 90% credible interval. This demonstrates the statisticalconsistency of our framework with current interferometric data from the Gravitational WaveOpen Science Center (GWOSC) while fully respecting asymptotic Schwarzschild-Kerrconstraints.We show that the local application of the CTM generates a Torsional Thermal Influx (TTI)which acts as a core thermal stabilizer, promoting the formation of coherent, helically alignedBeltrami-type fluid flows. This mechanism selectively suppresses high-frequencyhydrodynamic turbulence, leading to spatially homogeneous core nucleosynthesis and ahighly symmetric, rotationally uniform pre-collapse state. Finally, we establish a quantitativecorrelation between core torsional coherence and gravitational-wave ringdown signatures, laying the foundations for direct observational verification via high-precision quasinormalmode spectroscopy with next-generation observatories such as the Einstein Telescope andLISA.
