Local Energy Density Concentration of Quintessence as a Support Mechanism for Traversable Morris-Thorne Wormholes
We present a theoretical toy model analyzing the local coupling and concentration of a negative energy density field (quintessence/dark energy) around a Morris-Thorne traversable wormhole throat. By evaluating the Null Energy Condition (NEC) and Quantum Null Energy Condition (QNEC) locally, we examine whether a bounded effective energy-momentum tensor can maintain throat stability without requiring unphysical phantom fluid conditions at asymptotic infinity.
