Observational Constraints on Quantum Measurement via Five-Dimensional Braneworld Dynamics

This open-source theoretical manuscript proposes a geometric interpretation of the quantum measurement problem through the framework of Dual Brane Cosmogenesis (DBC). The central hypothesis of DBC is that a pre-observation quantum state is not an incomplete probabilistic object confined exclusively to four-dimensional spacetime, but rather a stable geometric resonance extending through a higher-dimensional bulk. Within this framework, quantum measurement is modeled as a localized interaction between a four-dimensional visible brane and a five-dimensional bulk geometry. The macroscopic detector is represented as a rigid boundary condition whose stress-energy perturbation acts as a source for a stabilized radion field. The measurement process is therefore interpreted not as the destruction of a quantum state, but as a geometric transition involving energy redistribution between brane-localized states and higher-dimensional degrees of freedom. The framework establishes: A five-dimensional action containing gravity, a radion stabilization potential, and localized brane interactions. The radion field equation including conformal coupling to brane stress-energy. The boundary junction conditions governing brane-bulk interaction. A mechanism by which localized measurement events may generate radion excitations and inter-brane energy transfer. Testable phenomenological predictions including photon-radion conversion, possible dark-sector energy exchange, high-frequency radion excitations, and possible stochastic gravitational-wave signatures. The present work is a theoretical construction requiring future numerical simulations and experimental investigation.
