Interpretive framework for Cough Hypersensitivity Questionnaire scores in chronic cough
<title>Extract</title> Chronic cough (>8 weeks) is a prevalent condition that substantially impairs quality of life (QoL) [1, 2]. While some cases are attributable to identifiable etiologies, chronic cough that remains unexplained or persists despite treatment of associated conditions represents an important unmet medical need [3]. Cough hypersensitivity has recently emerged as a key pathophysiological feature and treatable trait in these patients [4–7].
