Abstract- This project presents the design and development of an automated shoe cleaning system that integrates mechanicaland electronic components to provide an efficient footwear maintenance solution. Inspired by the principles of automatedwashing mechanisms, the system utilizes motor-driven brushes, a foam-spraying unit, and an Arduino UNO microcontrollerto perform a systematic multi-stage cleaning process. The shoe is securely positioned on a rubber rail mechanism that enablescontrolled linear movement, allowing it to pass through different cleaning stages automatically.A network of plastic tubes delivers cleaning foam uniformly onto the shoe surface, while rotating brushes effectively removedirt, dust, and stains. The coordinated movement of the rail system and brush assembly ensures thorough and consistentcleaning performance with minimal human intervention. The entire operation is controlled by the Arduino UNO, whichmanages the sequence of actions and ensures smooth transitions between cleaning stages through precise timing and control. The proposed system aims to reduce manual effort, improve cleaning efficiency, and provide a user-friendly solution forfootwear maintenance. With its automated operation, practical design, and cost-effective implementation, the system issuitable for both personal and commercial applications, contributing to the advancement of smart cleaning technologies.
