Gastrodia elata (Orchidaceae) is an important ecological plant. This project reported the chromosome level reference genome of Gastrodia elata based on PacBio, Illumina and Hi-C data. These data are helpful to clarify the ecological function of Gastrodia elata and the evolution of Orchidaceae.
