The Meridian Method: A Three-Module Diagnostic Framework for Operational Process Maturity in Organizations
The Meridian Method is a three-module framework for diagnosing and improving operational processes in organizations. It combines BPM, Lean, and quality-management practices — failure-mode analysis (FMEA) and root-cause analysis — into a structured consultant-guided workflow covering: (1) Express Diagnosis — rapid operational-risk assessment across 5 criteria; (2) Maturity Assessment — weighted per-process scoring across 24 criteria in four dimensions (Processes 35%, Data 30%, Control 25%, Technology 10%); and (3) Process Analysis — per-process deep dive using SIPOC, Value Stream Mapping, FMEA, 5 Whys, and ICE scoring. The companion tool Meridian Tools implements the full methodology as a single-file web application requiring no installation.
