Intrinsic Phase-Current Angular Momentum Without Rigid Rotation: Multimode Memory Response and Computational Closure in a Full Spectral-Phase Field
What does intrinsic angular momentum mean if a field does not rotate like a rigid body? This study addresses that question through a controlled computational investigation of a persistent proton–neutron–proton spectral-phase field. The results identify a large, axis-aligned angular momentum carried by ordered phase current, while showing that more than 99% of the induced response is realized through internal, multimode field reorganization rather than mechanical rotation. The analysis further reveals a passive, non-Markovian memory response and documents—with equal emphasis—which candidate mechanisms were not supported, including rigid-body inertia, half-angle dynamics, and native 4π4\pi4π spinorial return. The article therefore offers both a positive mechanism for field-current angular momentum and a rigorous negative-result registry designed to prevent the repetition of already resolved hypotheses.
