This thesis analyzes the legal basis of investments and investment activity. It covers regulatory and legal documents regulating investment activity, legal guarantees aimed at protecting the rights and legitimate interests of investors, and mechanisms for state support of investment activity. Also, the legal factors of improving the investment climate, the role of investment activity in economic development, and the significance of current legislation in this area are scientifically and theoretically analyzed.
