Tripartite Confrontation ($\Lambda$CDM, Janus, UCT) and Epistemological Analysis of the Mirage Effect — Core v6.1.4

Abstract (English) Suggested Deposit Title: Tripartite Confrontation ($\Lambda$CDM, Janus, UCT) and Epistemological Analysis of the Mirage Effect — Core v6.1.4 Abstract: This paper presents a theoretical and epistemological confrontation between the Standard Model ($\Lambda$CDM), the bi-metric Janus model, and the Topological Universe-Crystal Model (UCT Model, v6.1.4) regarding the missing mass anomaly in gravitational lensing. Grounded in historical 1992 source texts advocating for "angular rather than metric concepts," this manuscript demonstrates the limitations of continuous tensorial approaches and introduces a mechanistic alternative based on solid-state physics and Poincaré topology ($S^3/I^*$). The paper details the resolution of the cosmic mirage effect through two mathematical and physical pillars within the UCT framework: The vacuum as a photonic crystal: Replacing metric curvature with an effective anisotropic refractive index tensor $\mathbf{n}_{\text{eff}}$ driven by the Z-Matrix and the angular orientation operator $\mathbf{\hat{\Omega}}_{I^*}$. Photons do not experience pure gravitational attraction but are guided through an index-gradient metamaterial induced by lattice dislocation. Elastic equivalence of the missing mass: Formulating the torsional constraint energy ($\mathcal{E}_{\text{elastic}}$) via the volume integral of the phase gradient ($\nabla \otimes \mathbf{\Phi}_{\tau}$). Through mass-energy equivalence, this mechanical tension acts as an apparent mass density $\rho_{\text{app}}$, precisely accounting for the 90% observational deficit (ratio $M_{\text{effective}}/M_{\text{baryon}} \approx 10$) without invoking exotic dark matter or complex negative fluid dynamics. An analytical appendix complements the study, locking down the tensorial formalism applied to the copolymetric waveguiding of space-time. Keywords: Topological Universe-Crystal, Janus Model, $\Lambda$CDM, Gravitational lensing, Photonic crystal, Z-Matrix, Elastic energy, Metamaterial, Epistemology.
