Logical Information: Instantaneous Inference Without Physical Transmission
Information is usually considered to require physical transmission from one location toanother. However, many forms of information are obtained through logical inference fromalready available facts, laws, and relationships. In such cases, information is not physicallytransmitted between locations; it is derived through reasoning. This paper discusses examples from physics, geometry, and simple systems to distinguish Logical Information fromphysical information transfer
