Quantum Interactions of Planckons: A Physics Model in the Planck Region
The Planckon is proposed as the fundamental degree of freedom of the Planck region: a dimensionless, volumeless, indivisible particle (d0) with potential energy of order εP. The paper models Planck-scale physics within Dimensional Flow Cosmology (ΨD) through Planckon quantum interactions, on two principles: time is not a coordinate but the event counter of interactions (τ = n·tP), and space is built discretely by doubling cubic geometry. By the finiteness principle, zero and infinity are not physical; the ladder's base is N(d0) = 2⁰ = 1, yet the physical ground state is d1. The cosmological beginning is a folding cascade generating dimensions and space (d0→d3); the d3 cube of eight Planckons with edge 4ℓP founds a self-similar hierarchy with geometric filling fixed at 1/8 at every scale. The energy budget is written in operator language: closed bond patterns correspond to massive particles, open patterns to massless carriers. The proton sits at step k ≈ 65.5, and the diameter law d = 2³ƛ for the closed baryonic packet agrees with CODATA 2022 within 0.76σ. Counter dynamics yields the relativistic energymomentum relation, exact diagonal dispersion, and a discrete mass spectrum E = 2³εP/N; the cosmological constant lands at the 10⁻¹²² step of the d1 channel. With minimal coupling, the force law, emission vertex, golden rule, and Thomson cross section are derived internally, importing only α and the mode normalization. The model remains a hypothesis; the N-selection rule and interacting dynamics are open problems.
