The Optimized Simulation Framework
This essay proposes a synthesis of digital physics, the Many-Worlds Interpretation of quantum mechanics, and the simulation hypothesis through the lens of computational optimization. It suggests that familiar features of our universe—such as quantization, the speed-of-light limit, quantum superposition, and cosmological inflation—can be reinterpreted as computational optimization strategies analogous to the techniques used in modern game engines, including lazy evaluation, frustum culling, procedural generation, and level-of-detail scaling. The framework is deliberately speculative rather than a scientific claim and is presented as a unifying philosophical perspective rather than a tested or testable theory.
