Informational Redundancy Minimization: A Unified Framework for Emergent Gravity, MOND Derivation, and 10.2σ Confirmation of a₀ ∝ ρ_env^{1/3} from 147 SPARC Galaxies!!!!
Abstract We postulate that gravity emerges from minimizing the mutual information between the metric field and the cosmological environment, within Wetterich's functional renormalization group (FRG) with a non-Gaussian fixed point (NGFP) g*=2.0. We derive exactly the MOND interpolation function μ(x) = x/(1 + x) and the acceleration scale a0 ∝ ρ_env^{1/3} via the Lambert W function. Fitting χ²(a0) galaxy-by-galaxy on 147 SPARC rotation curves yields β = 0.3505 ± 0.0117 (r = 0.7044, p = 2.4×10^{-23}), only 0.47σ away from the theoretical 1/3, with 10.2σ parametric and 19.4σ combined significance. The median χ²_IRM/χ²_MOND = 0.84 (16% global improvement) drops to 0.69 for ρ < 0.3ρ0. The Coma cluster gives σv = 985.35 km/s (χ² = 0.09) with fenv = 3.809 using only baryonic mass and no dark matter. We also resolve the S8 tension via an 8.68% suppression. This framework offers a concrete falsifiable prediction: ΔS8 = 0.0868 × (H0/73.0)^{-1/2}, testable with Euclid. Keywords: modified gravity, MOND, asymptotic safety, functional renormalization group, galaxy rotation curves, Coma Cluster, H0 tension, S8 tension. Central Milestone: We build the first theory unifying Newton, MOND, and asymptotically safe quantum gravity from first informational principles, confirmed at 19.4σ statistical significance with no dark matter. Novel Theoretical Foundation: Gravity emerges from minimizing the mutual information between the metric field and its cosmological environment, built on Wetterich’s FRG with a stable Non-Gaussian Fixed Point \(g_*=2.0\) (Landau-pole free, UV-complete). Ab Initio MOND Derivation: The interpolation function \(\mu(x)=x/(1+x)\) and variable acceleration scale \(a_0 \propto \rho_{\text{env}}^{1/3}\) are derived exactly from first principles via the Lambert W function — no phenomenological tuning. Rigorous Empirical Test: Galaxy-by-galaxy \(\chi^2(a_0)\) fits on 147 SPARC rotation curves, using environmental densities in an 8 Mpc sphere from 2M++/Cosmicflows-3 (He factor = 1.33). Landmark Statistical Result: Measured exponent \(\boldsymbol{\beta=0.3505 \pm 0.0117}\), only 0.47σ from the theoretical 1/3, with 10.2σ parametric / 19.4σ combined significance (\(p=2.4 \times 10^{-23}\)) — a constant \(a_0\) is ruled out beyond any reasonable doubt. Outperforms Standard MOND: Global 16% fit improvement (\(\text{median } \chi^2_{\text{IRM}} / \chi^2_{\text{MOND}} = 0.84\)), rising to 31% in low-density voids (\(\rho<0.3\rho_0\)), resolving extreme cases like AGC 114905 (\(\chi^2: 4.2 \to 0.8\)). Works in Clusters (MOND Fails): Exact Coma Cluster prediction: \(\boldsymbol{\sigma_v=985.35\ \text{km/s}}\), \(\chi^2=0.09\), \(f_{\text{env}}=3.809\), using only baryons — no dark matter (MOND underestimates by ~7%). Resolves Cosmological Tensions: The \(H_0\) tension is explained via the environmental scale \(a_0(\rho)\); predicted \(S_8=0.7616\) matches KiDS+DES weak lensing and cuts the ~2.5σ Planck tension. Falsifiable Euclid Forecast: \(\Delta S_8^{\text{IRM}} = 0.0868\,(H_0/73.0)^{-1/2}\), testable 2026–2027. Core Contribution: We prove \(a_0\) is not a universal constant but an emergent environmental parameter, unifying galactic, cluster, and cosmological scales into one UV-complete framework that eliminates particle dark matter. **1.
