Advances in the Study of Visible‐Light‐Mediated Reactions of Thianthrenium Salts
In recent years, the reactions of thianthrenium salts under visible‐light mediation have garnered extensive attention from chemists. Substantial innovative advances have been achieved in related research over the past 3 years. In this paper, we focus on three mechanisms, namely, photoredox catalysis, energy transfer photocatalysis, and electron donor–acceptor (EDA) complexes, to outline the research regarding the applications of thianthrenium salts in visible‐light photocatalytic reactions spanning 2022–2025.
