The Lab of the Future: An Industrial Infrastructure for Scalable Molecular Innovation
ABSTRACT In modern molecular R&D, the cycle of designing, synthesizing, and testing molecules remains the rate‐limiting step for both drugs and materials. The Lab of the Future offers a way to compress this cycle from months to days through a new kind of industrial infrastructure that tightly integrates domain‐specific computational models ( Scientific AI ), automated robotic experimentation ( Physical AI ), and intelligent orchestration ( Agentic System ).
