Black Hole Cosmology and the Holographic Big Bang in Quantum Graph Emergent Field Theory (QGEFT)
The QGEFT black-hole Big Bang benchmark supports a complete, self-regulating three-phase cosmic cycle. A black hole node ($d_{\mathrm{target}} = 500$) grows a baby universe from $N=1000$ to $N=2874$ (+187%) through localized edge subdivision at its event horizon. Inflation naturally halts once the black hole reaches its target degree ($d_b \approx 508$) and global energy collapses from $\sim 123{,}000$ to $\sim 12$. Because every new spatial quantum is born by splitting an edge attached to the black hole, the entire pocket universe is holographically encoded on the event horizon boundary, providing a direct structural realization of the Holographic Principle and Smolin's Cosmological Natural Selection.
