On the Effective Properties of a Composite Field State in Field Coupling

In calculating the motion of an object in a gravitational field, the conventional approach treats the object as an independent system whose motion is determined by the external field alone. This paper proposes a different approach: when the object couples with the external field, they form an inseparable composite field state. Within this composite state, the effective properties of the object—such as its mass, energy, and momentum—should be determined by the parameters of the composite state, rather than by its isolated parameters. This paper presents the conceptual framework and the difference in computational methodology. No specific applications are discussed.

Abstract

In calculating the motion of an object in a gravitational field, the conventional approach treats the object as an independent system whose motion is determined by the external field alone. This paper proposes a different approach: when the object couples with the external field, they form an inseparable composite field state. Within this composite state, the effective properties of the object—such as its mass, energy, and momentum—should be determined by the parameters of the composite state, rather than by its isolated parameters. This paper presents the conceptual framework and the difference in computational methodology. No specific applications are discussed.
