Functional Navigation of the Research Ecosystem

Functional Navigation of the Research Ecosystem: The Entry Point to Vitology — Understanding the Architecture of an Interdisciplinary Science of Viability This review presents the Vitology Scientific Series as an integrated interdisciplinary research ecosystem devoted to the systematic investigation of viability as a universal criterion of the state and development of systems of different nature. Rather than representing a collection of independent publications, the series is organized as a coherent scientific architecture in which each research block performs a specific scientific function while simultaneously establishing the conceptual and methodological foundations for subsequent stages of investigation.8 The paper introduces the functional architecture of the series, including the progression from the conceptual foundations of Vitology through universal mechanisms, integral models, Harmony Navigation, Computational Vitology, immersive viability technologies, and cognitive and intelligent technologies of viability. Particular attention is devoted to the functional relationships among the research blocks, their methodological continuity, and their collective contribution to the formation of an interdisciplinary science of viability. The review also proposes a functional roadmap for studying the Vitology Scientific Series, provides structured navigation through the publications, and demonstrates how the research ecosystem evolves from understanding toward scientific discovery. The article is intended to serve as the principal entry point for researchers, educators, students, and interdisciplinary teams seeking a systematic understanding of the conceptual architecture and long-term development of Vitology. Abstract
