APPLICATION OF THE HIERARCHY ANALYSIS METHOD TO ASSESS THE RISK OF A TECHNOGENIC EMERGENCY IN A REGION
Today, changes in the geophysical environment, which includes the technical environment, increase the risk of natural and man-made accidents, because there is a synergistic effect of interaction between these environments. Therefore, it is very important to use scientifically based approaches to modeling and forecasting accidents and emergencies, as well as to assess the risk of their occurrence in certain territories. The analysis of risks and sources of man-made hazards was carried out, taking into account the influence of territorial factors. The article demonstrates the application of the analysis of hierarchies method for effectively ranking six most important criteria of man-made hazards in terms of their significance.
