Hypothesis of Unification of All Beyond‑GR Concepts: Synthesis through the Choice of Description Level G
This article proposes a hypothesis according to which the existing theories of gravity that go beyond General Relativity (GR) — quantum gravity (QG), modified gravity (MG), emergent gravity (EG), and the Infinite‑Dimensional Multiverse Model (IDM) — are not competing but rather describe one and the same physical object (“the elephant”) at different levels of description G . A brief explanation is given of the concepts \Omega (Omega) — the number of available microstates — and G — the choice of description level (coarse‑graining). It is shown that entropy is a function of both factors: S = f(\Omega, G) , and that this principle can be elevated to a meta‑level to reconcile competing physical theories. A comparison is made with other well‑known attempts at unification: emergent modified gravity (Bojowald & Duque, 2024), the elastic substrate theory SSUT (Sohail, 2026), the resonance model CODES (Bostick, 2025), and the collective programme “Hydrodynamics on superspace” (Ashour et al., 2024). For each, similarities with and differences from the proposed hypothesis are indicated. It is shown that the proposed approach is unique in four respects: (1) the introduction of an explicit meta‑principle G ; (2) the inclusion of infinite‑dimensional geometry (IDM) and attractors as a dynamical explanation of the fine‑tuning of fundamental constants; (3) the resolution of pseudo‑conflicts between theories; and (4) the extension to practical protocols (inter‑universe reconnaissance, classification of universes, quarantine, back‑door infiltration). The hypothesis does not reject any existing theory but gives each a place in a single picture. The elephant is one. Descriptions are many. And all of them are needed.
