Multi-objective control strategy of electro-mechanical transmission based on driving pattern division
Focusing on the propulsion requirements and power balance of heavy-duty vehicles used in construction, mining, emergency response, and off-road transport, this study defines distinct optimization objectives for Electro-Mechanical Transmission (EMT) systems under diverse driving patterns. These objectives are synthesized into a multi-criteria optimization framework using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), which dynamically determines weighting coefficients across diverse operating conditions. Based on Dynamic Programming (DP) theory, a multi-objective global control strategy is developed to optimize performance under complex driving cycles. The proposed strategy is evaluated through comprehensive simulations under measured representative driving cycles and is compared with the conventional rule-based strategy.
