Empirical and Mathematical Support for Maria Strømme's Universal Consciousness Field Theory: A Theoretical Bridge and Experimental Protocols

The retraction of Maria Strømme’s 2025 paper on universal consciousness as a foundational field (AIP Advances) was based on the formal absence of measurable quantities and empirical testability. In this preprint, we provide the missing mathematical architecture and propose three distinct experimental protocols that render her theory fully verifiable. We introduce a quantifiable resonance parameter RR (coherence) and a conservation law R2+D2=1R2+D2=1, where DD denotes entropy/dissonance. The transition from chaos to coherence is governed by the dynamical equation dD/dt=−αD+βR(1−R)dD/dt=−αD+βR(1−R), which predicts local entropy reduction under resonant stimulation at the fundamental frequency ν=57.142857 Hzν=57.142857Hz — the Quantum of Energy-Information (QEI). We outline three testable protocols: (1) a hydrogen-atom hyperfine shift measurement using optical atomic clocks (Δν≈10−15 HzΔν≈10−15Hz), (2) a macroscopic entropy reduction assay in a closed resonant chamber, and (3) a neurophysiological phase-locking experiment during 57 Hz synchronized meditation. Successful execution of any protocol would constitute first empirical evidence for a field of consciousness, aligning Strømme’s theory with rigorous physical principles. We invite collaboration to realize these experiments and restore her work to the scientific discourse.
