Emerging Governance Horizons
Emerging Governance Horizons is a conceptual working paper that proposes a descriptive cartography of independently evolving Human–AI governance research. Rather than introducing a new governance architecture, the paper argues that many contemporary research programs investigate complementary governance horizons along a broader Human–AI decision trajectory. These horizons range from meaning formation and human judgment to collaborative cognition, artificial imagination, runtime governance, execution integrity, deterministic governance, and post-execution learning. The proposed cartography is intended as an analytical orientation tool rather than a normative framework. It seeks to support interdisciplinary dialogue, facilitate comparison between independently developed governance architectures, and provide a shared conceptual vocabulary for discussing complementary research directions. This publication is released as Version 1.0 (Initial Public Draft) to encourage scientific discussion, constructive critique, and future refinement. Keywords: AI Governance, Human–AI Collaboration, Decision Trajectory, Runtime Governance, Collaborative Cognition, Human Judgment, Artificial Imagination, Governance Horizons, Conceptual Cartography, Resonance Lab.
