Circle, Screen, and Scar: Radical Casework in a Spectacle Society
Circle, Screen, and Scar: Radical Casework in a Spectacle Society is a long-form poem about bullying, digital spectacle, and the unfinished labor of care in school life. Moving through circle, screen, scar, and aftercare, it follows a child’s hurt as it becomes hallway laughter, online content, official report, and lingering wound. The poem sets institutional language beside lyric grief, showing how forms, policies, and platforms often fail to hold what children endure. Against surveillance and spectacle, it imagines repair as proximity, shared responsibility, and the slow practice of making safety breathable again.
