Visible-Light-Induced Radical Cascade Cyclization of 1,7-Enynes to Access CF 2 -Containing Indenoquinolines by an Electron Donor

We report a photoinduced radical cascade cyclization of alkenes with difluorobromoamides, enabled via an electron donor–acceptor (EDA) complex strategy. This protocol constitutes an efficient route to difluoroamidated indenylquinolines, wherein the difluorobromoamide functions as the electron acceptor and (NH 4 ) 2 S 2 O 8 serves as the electron donor. The method is distinguished by mild reaction conditions, operational simplicity, metal-free catalysis, excellent functional group tolerance, and a broad substrate scope.

Abstract

This protocol constitutes an efficient route to difluoroamidated indenylquinolines, wherein the difluorobromoamide functions as the electron acceptor and (NH 4 ) 2 S 2 O 8 serves as the electron donor. The method is distinguished by mild reaction conditions, operational simplicity, metal-free catalysis, excellent functional group tolerance, and a broad substrate scope.
