Reconfigurable Generation of Vector Beam Lattices in a Coherent Fiber Laser Array
Vector beam (VB) lattices have attracted considerable interest for applications in laser processing, optical communications, and optical trapping. However, the reconfigurable generation of high-power VB lattices remains a challenge. Here, we propose and demonstrate the generation of cylindrical vector beam (CVB) lattices and hybrid vector beam (HVB) lattices using a coherent fiber laser array. By varying the array configuration, VB lattices with different geometries, such as square, hexagonal, and circular patterns, can be generated. Meanwhile, the polarization distribution can be tailored by adjusting the polarization state of each sub-beam. Furthermore, the system offers significant power scalability by increasing both the per-channel power and the number of array elements. This work provides a reconfigurable, high-power approach to VB lattice generation.
