MediaToken: Own the Attention. Keep the Work.
MediaToken proposes a creator-and-community attention economy in which each immutable creative release can carry a transferable market position in the attention around that release. Explicit fees reward creators; later net demand can reward early curators; transparent grants can support active community work. Media bytes remain outside the chain in voluntary user-owned libraries and move over IPFS, while a proposed Solana program makes release identity and market rules inspectable. A MediaToken does not convey copyright, exclusivity, ownership of an audience, or a guaranteed return. This document is a technical concept and research program, not a token offering, investment solicitation, audited protocol, or legal opinion. This record archives discussion draft 0.2.
