Pediatric inpatient influenza vaccination before, during and after the COVID-19 pandemic
Abstract In this multi-site retrospective study, we evaluated influenza vaccination of hospitalized children during the 2018-19 through 2023-24 seasons. While screening varied across sites, influenza vaccine administration was lower in the pandemic and post-pandemic period for all sites. These results highlight the need for strategies to promote vaccination of hospitalized children.
