205P Assessing financial toxicity in a gynaecologic oncology clinical trial center using the PROFFIT questionnaire: Preliminary results of the FOCUS-GYN study
Financial toxicity (FT) is increasingly recognized as a key patient-reported outcome, even among clinical trial participants. Although investigational treatments are provided at no cost, patients may still incur substantial indirect expenses, including more frequent hospital visits, extended travel, loss of income and supplementary care needs. The FOCUS-GYN study investigates FT using the PROFFIT questionnaire in patients with gynecologic cancers undergoing active treatment in both industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated phase I–III trials at a high-volume referral cancer center within the Italian National Health System.
