171eP A multicenter observational cohort study: Determination of the frequency of hereditary ovarian cancer in Belarus
Between 15 and 25% of ovarian cancers (OC) are hereditary ovarian cancer (HOC) and are caused by high-penetrance mutations in the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes. Methods such as PCR and NGS allow HOC to be detected in a larger number of patients. The aim of our study was to conduct cross-sectional testing of the OC-affected Belarusian female population for pathogenic mutations associated with the risk of HOC developing.
