Solution-phase Synthesis and Quantum Coherence Tuning of Carbon-based Quantum Magnets
Over the past few decades, significant advances have been achieved in the molecular design and solution phase synthesis of carbon based quantum magnets, leading to a clearer understanding of the intrinsic relationship between magnetic properties and chemical structures. In recent years, driven by the rapid development of quantum information science, carbon based quantum magnets have attracted unprecedented attention as an emerging quantum materials platform because of quantum coherence tuning. In this article,we briefly review the development of solution synthesis of several types of carbon based quantum magnets and highlight representative systematic studies focused on structure–magnetism correlations, aiming to demonstrate their potential relevance for quantum coherence tuning. Particular emphasis is placed on recently reported synthetic strategies for carbon based quantum magnets,as well as their quantum coherence properties, including spin–lattice relaxation time (T1) and spin coherence time (Tm),providing insights and guidance for the future design of carbon-based quantum magnets.
