Simultaneous Transvenous Lead Extraction and Intra‐Operative Epicardial Extravascular Defibrillator ( <scp>EV</scp> ‐ <scp>ICD</scp> ) Implantation During Tricuspid Valve Replacement
ABSTRACT Transvalvular device leads are undesirable following tricuspid valve replacement. Simultaneous lead extraction and intra‐operative EV‐ICD implantation can provide ongoing defibrillator therapy without crossing the prosthetic valve and may avoid the need for additional pacing hardware when atrioventricular conduction is preserved.
