A COGNITIVE AND AFFECTIVE ANALYSIS OF MULTIMODAL AND GAME-BASED PEDAGOGIES IN EARLY ENGLISH LANGUAGE ACQUISITION
This research paper investigates the profound relationship between the cognitive and affective domains in the context of early childhood language acquisition. While traditional pedagogical approaches often prioritize cognitive memorization, this study argues that the affective domain—comprising emotions, motivation, and sensory engagement—serves as the primary catalyst for long-term linguistic retention. By analyzing modern digital tools such as YouTube, interactive "smart" toys, and the psychological impact of "vivid moments," the article provides evidence-based strategies for educators. Special attention is given to the 7-15 minute peak concentration window identified by UNESCO and the role of multimodal learning in creating episodic memories. The findings suggest that when technology is integrated with psychological principles, children develop a more natural and sustainable path to fluency.
