Embedding digital participation and policy innovation in South African municipalities

This policy brief therefore focuses on findings coming from two main processes: a reflection on our experiences facilitating, supporting or observing scaling and replication within and across municipalities connected to ePPMOSA. A review of existing literature concerning the diffusion and institutionalization of digital participation, mainly through the lens of the Transformative Innovation Policy (TIP) Expanding and mainstreaming niches macro-process.
