Dual-Channel Gravity in the Stochastic Rupture Framework: Collapse-Induced Pruning and Flux-Induced Temporal Transport as Complementary Sources of Gravitational Dynamics
Within the Stochastic Rupture (SR) framework, gravitational dynamics emerge from the evolution of a covariant informational saturation field χ(xµ) defined as the fractional occupancy of the local Bekenstein–Bousso information bound. Previous work identified collapse-induced informational pruning as a candidate microscopic origin of classical structure formation and proper-time slowing in macroscopic systems. In this paper we propose that gravitational attraction receives two complementary contributions from the χ-field dynamics: (1) a local pruning component associated with collapsedriven saturation (χ → 1), and (2) a transport component generated by sustained flux of low-saturation quantum-plane objects crossing classical regions. The first reproduces conventional baryonic gravity within the SR framework, while the second provides a candidate mechanism for dark-matter-like gravitational signatures without introducing new particle species. The paper develops the conceptual structure of this dual-channel gravitational mechanism and identifies the mathematical program required to test its viability. This revised version (June 2026) adds a quantitative calculation of the channel-(ii) contribution to galactic rotation curves (Sections 13 and 14). The linearized SR field equation ∇2χ − Γ0χ = −Sbary produces a phantom halo with Yukawa profile χ(r) ∝ e − √ Γ0r/r extending beyond the baryonic disk. The geodesic coupling is ℓ P² suppressed and insufficient; the metric backreaction route gµν = κ∇µ∇νI avoids this. The screening parameter is fixed by a decisive test: the SR transition acceleration a0 = c 2√Γ0/2π reproduces the observed galactic acceleration scale a obs 0 ≈ 1.2×10−10 m s−2 only for Γ0 = Λ (the cosmological constant), to within 15% and with no free parameter. This selects Γ0 = Λ and unifies dark energy (background χ), dark matter (phantomhalo ∇χ), and the MOND acceleration scale (a0 = c2 √Λ/2π) under one informational parameter. The flat rotation-curve shape and the baryonic Tully–Fisher relation v4 = GM a0 emerge from the balance between the local Unruh bath and the cosmological de Sitter bath, with the geometric factor 2π derived from the closed circular orbit. The a0–Λ link is a clean, parameter-free falsifiable signature. Since Γ0 = Λ implies a screening length λSR ≈ 3 Gpc, the Yukawa cutoff is not observable at galactic scales (the same large λSR that flattens rotation curves pushes the exponential cutoff to cluster–supercluster scales); the galactic-scale discriminator is instead the shape of the profile (an uncut 1/r tail, intermediate between the NFW r −3 falloff and exact MOND flatness).
