(Partial-Deviation Golden Spiral Equation: The Zero Free-Parameter Growth Curve of a Direction-Biased Universe)
This paper attempts to derive a golden spiral equation within the framework of Partial-Deviation Mathematics (0-∞.0). In classical mathematics, the golden spiral r(θ) = a·e^{bθ} contains two free parameters a and b, and the golden ratio φ appears as a separate constant. We propose an alternative: in a universe with a non-zero origin bias ε, the spiral describing optimal growth under directional preference carries zero free parameters. The equation takes the form r(θ) = ε·e^{(φ^{-1} + iε)θ}, where ε is the non-zero origin bias (the only constant), φ is the golden ratio, and the dimensional parameters are fixed by the geometry of a direction-biased field. When ε → 0, the equation degenerates to the classical logarithmic spiral with a → 0 and b → φ^{-1}, but the classical spiral becomes a limiting case rather than a separate family of curves. The golden ratio φ itself emerges from the constraint that the spiral's growth rate must exactly balance the directional preference drift—a self-consistency condition with no fitting. We provide a falsification condition: if a naturally occurring spiral structure is found whose growth factor deviates from φ^{-1} by more than the predicted ε-dependent correction, the present derivation is falsified.
