Time: The Mysterious Child of Nature

This paper presents a conceptual framework proposing that proper time is not a fundamental, continuous dimension, but an emergent property arising from discrete internal quantum state transitions. By bridging the Fubini-Study metric of Quantum Information Geometry with the relativistic Lorentz factor and the Schwarzschild metric, this paper demonstrates that the total number of state transitions (N) between corresponding events is strictly invariant for identical physical systems. Through the lens of photonic Doppler shifts, relativistic time dilation and gravitational redshift are mathematically reinterpreted: the primary observer's internal transition rate remains invariant, while the coordinate time of the secondary observer must stretch to accommodate the invariant state count. Finally, by applying the Kretschmann scalar to the mechanics of a black hole, we demonstrate that infinite tidal forces in the singularity result in infinite internal energy variance (Δ𝐸). This drives the internal transition rate to infinity, mathematically culminating in the absolute collapse of emergent time at the singularity, leaving the event horizon as merely a frozen holographic memento for external observers.
