Cultivating Body Compassion to Buffer Body Shame: A Micro-intervention Study in Young Women with Body Concerns
This repository contains the study materials for "Cultivating Body Compassion to Buffer Body Shame: A Micro-intervention Study in Young Women with Body Concerns." The study used a randomized experimental design to test whether a brief, writing-based body compassion micro-intervention (BCMI) could buffer experimentally induced body shame in young women with body concerns, and whether trait body shame and trait body compassion moderated its effects. Materials available here include the adapted body compassion meditation script, the intervention and control task materials.
