A Geometric Interpretation of the Identity A = 1/2 CR = πR² Through Recursive Circle–Rhombus Constructions

Abstract This preprint presents a geometric interpretation of the equivalent identity A = 1/2 · C · R = πR², where A is the area of a circle, C its circumference, and R its radius. Rather than proposing a new area formula, this work investigates the geometric meaning of this identity through a recursive kinematic construction. The construction begins with an isoperimetric rhombus associated with the reference circle and develops into a sequence of equal-area rhombi sharing the same geometric center. Unlike a static Euclidean configuration, the geometry is treated as kinematic: the construction evolves through successive geometric transformations while preserving the area relationships between the generated figures. This recursive development provides a visual interpretation of the identity A = 1/2 · C · R and motivates the normalization expressed by the Bouras Identity, Ψ = (((⁴√1.6)²)/4) · √10 = 1. The purpose of this work is to present the complete construction, its geometric interpretation, and its recursive development as part of the Bouras 4D Geometry Method (B4DGM), inviting independent mathematical analysis, verification, and discussion.
