THE PROBLEM OF ORDER EVALUATION OF A PARAMETRIC MODEL FOR METHODS OF ANALYSING POWER SYSTEMS' SIGNALS WITH LOW-FREQUENCY COMPONENTS

This article presents the results of a study of the approaches to order evaluation of the model in parametric methods of signal analysis involving low-frequency components. Based on a set of test signals, the level of accuracy in estimating the order of the signal model of the approaches under consideration have been evaluated. Conclusions have been made about the suitability of applying the approaches under consideration to evaluate the model order of parametric signal analysis methods, with a view to identifying the parameters of low-frequency oscillations in the operating parameters of power systems and unions in real time.

Abstract

This article presents the results of a study of the approaches to order evaluation of the model in parametric methods of signal analysis involving low-frequency components. Based on a set of test signals, the level of accuracy in estimating the order of the signal model of the approaches under consideration have been evaluated. Conclusions have been made about the suitability of applying the approaches under consideration to evaluate the model order of parametric signal analysis methods, with a view to identifying the parameters of low-frequency oscillations in the operating parameters of power systems and unions in real time.
