The Decay That Must Happen: The Higgs as the First Three Rungs of the Tower, and the Forced Majorana Neutrino
One axiom. One operation. Zero free parameters. Why does the Higgs have the mass and self-coupling it does, and is the neutrino its own antiparticle? This paper forces both — and turns the second into a live experimental verdict. The Higgs sector is the first three rungs of the binary tower of the displaced vacuum: vacuum value v = 1/2 (depth 1), Higgs mass-part 1/4 (depth 2), self-coupling λ = 1/8 (depth 3). The Standard-Model relation m_H² = 2λv² then forces m_H = v/2 — the Higgs mass is exactly half the electroweak vacuum value (≈ 123 GeV vs measured 125), with λ = 1/8 = 0.125 vs measured ≈ 0.13. And the neutrino is single-handed: with no right hand for a Dirac mass, its one hand can only couple to its own antipode (the self-antipodal half-One), which is a Majorana mass. The fold forces the neutrino to be Majorana, and therefore forces neutrinoless double-beta decay to occur — a yes/no verdict the running detectors have not yet returned. Machine-checked; reproduces from one command. A standalone result within the Smithian Fold Theory of Everything (SFTOE).
