Draft genome sequence of a methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus MRSA_GSTU_PS9_BD strain isolated from a patient’s wound in Bangladesh
ABSTRACT We report the draft genome sequence of the methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) strain MRSA_GSTU_PS9_BD, isolated from a patient’s wound infection in Bangladesh. The genome harbors 123 and 22 predicted virulence factors and antimicrobial resistance genes, respectively, with a 91.86% probability of being a human pathogen.
