Breaking the Surgical Nightmare of Retroperitoneal Liposarcoma: Introducing a Novel Biophysical Immunotherapeutic Strategy Combining PILA and FSP

The recent tragic passing of Dr. Po-Hsu Chen—a distinguished giant in Taiwan's medical community and a pioneer in ultrasound-guided injection for pain management at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital—has dealt a profound blow to the clinical world. Stricken in the prime of his career, Dr. Chen fought valiantly against retroperitoneal liposarcoma for four years before succumbing to the disease. This devastating loss sounds an urgent alarm for clinical oncology: when facing these massive, highly recurrent "surgical nightmares" that are profoundly insensitive to conventional chemotherapy and radiotherapy, the traditional paradigm focused solely on "anatomical resection" and "biochemical cytotoxicity" has reached an insurmountable bottleneck. To break this deadlock, we must leap beyond established frameworks. As an independent researcher, the author proposes a paradigm shift from the novel dimensions of biomechanics and spatial immunology, recommending an integrative, curative-potential strategy to the translational medicine experts and clinical physicians of the Chang Gung system: the combination of Physical In-situ Lymph-node Antigenization (PILA) and Fever Simulation Protocol (FSP).
