Towards a theatre of disobedience
This follows in the oeuvre of performance writing as research within the contemporary age of crisis that interrogates how a reconsideration of decolonial theatre practice is the consideration of disobedience in performing protest. Tracing the embodied argument where text informs the performative is a presentation of several case studies informed by locus as biopictures, or meta-pictures, but in this case, they are described and not visualized. What matters here is the paradigm of protest alongside disobedience as a performance trope and mechanism calling for a theatre of disobedience as a generic term for theatre of revolt, interspersed with inter-disciplines. It is in the entanglements of the interdisciplinarity where a mythologizing suggests a specific locus to the practice of disobedience as performing protest as much as it includes allegorical resilience in the age of crisis.
