Control of the supramolecular structure and the use of carbon nanostructures as a method of increasing fire extinguishing solutions using the example of water

Aspects of supramolecular transformations of the supramolecular structure of water under the influence of electrophysical action and reagent modification by nanoparticles are considered. Experimental data are presented that indicate a change in the physicochemical properties of water - surface tension, dynamic viscosity, redox potential, evaporation intensity - when treated with a variable frequency-modulated potential. The effect of these changes on the fire extinguishing capacity of water-containing compositions, including those modified with carbon nanostructures, was analyzed. It has been shown that the management of the colligative properties of water due to the restructuring of its supramolecular structure opens up prospects for improving fire extinguishing substances and fire extinguishing technologies. It was revealed that the management of the colligative properties of water by changing its supramolecular structure opens up wide prospects for improving fire extinguishing substances and fire extinguishing technologies. Prospects for further improvement of fire extinguishing agents are associated with the development of nanomodified compositions for robotic fire extinguishing installations at oil product transportation facilities, shipbuilding and ship repair facilities, as well as at other production facilities. Creation of multicomponent compositions with specified physical and chemical characteristics, adapted for various classes of fires (solid substances, combustible liquids, electrical installations). Thus, the management of the colligative and structural properties of water is a very important aspect for the innovative development of fire safety in various industries and infrastructure.
