Prussian Blue@Conducting Polymer Electrode and Gel Redox Electrolytes for All-Solid-State Flexible Asymmetric Supercapacitors
All-solid-state supercapacitors have emerged as promising energy-storage devices owing to their rapid charge−discharge capability, high power density, excellent cycling stability, and environmentally friendly characteristics. However, their relatively low energy density remains a major obstacle to the practical application of supercapacitors. In this study, we report all-solid-state flexible asymmetric supercapacitors constructed using a positive electrode and a novel gel redox electrolyte. The fabricated all-solid-state supercapacitors exhibit a wide operating voltage window of 2 V, delivering a high energy density of 19.5 Wh kg −1 at a power density of 360.1 W kg −1, along with excellent cycling stability, retaining 95.8% of their capacitance after 5000 cycles. These results demonstrate that the developed all-solid-state flexible asymmetric supercapacitors hold significant promise for energy-storage applications in wearable electronics.
