Structural Gravitational Waves v1.1: Observational Constraints on Structural Deviations from Ringdown Measurements

This repository accompanies the preprint "Structural Gravitational Waves v1.1: Observational Constraints on Structural Deviations from Ringdown Measurements." This work establishes the first observational constraint framework for the Structural Gravitational Wave (SGW) theory, extending the theoretical foundations developed in v1.0 to quantitative tests using published LIGO–Virgo–KAGRA ringdown measurements. The framework introduces an illustrative Bayesian inference pipeline linking structural model parameters to observable quasinormal-mode (QNM) frequency and damping-time shifts. Using published O1–O3 ringdown results, the study derives illustrative constraints on structural coupling parameters, propagation effects, and multi-detector consistency while introducing a systematic falsifiability battery (C1–C5). The repository contains: The complete v1.1 preprint (32 figures) A reproducible Python demonstration script Illustrative Bayesian constraint examples Structural parameter sensitivity analyses Multi-detector consistency and propagation tests Future detector forecasts (LIGO A+, Cosmic Explorer, Einstein Telescope, Voyager, and LISA) A roadmap toward the hierarchical statistical inference framework planned for SGW v1.2 All numerical values, figures, and demonstrations are illustrative and are intended to demonstrate the proposed structural framework. No raw LIGO/Virgo/KAGRA detector strain data are reprocessed; the analysis uses published observational results.
