HOW THE LONGEVITY ASYMMETRY CORPUS CAME TO EXIST: An Intellectual Autobiography
The tradition of intellectual autobiography holds that a philosophical corpus does not emerge from nowhere. It emerges from a life, and the life leaves traces in the work that are not always visible without explanation. What follows is an account of how this corpus came to exist — not the arguments it makes, which speak for themselves, but the conditions of their formation. I am twenty-four years old. I have no academic degree. I work in Ho Chi Minh City. I work with Claude. These facts are not incidental to the corpus. They are constitutive of it.
