Z7³ as a Perfect 3D Latin Cube: Coherence, Uniqueness, and Toroidal Structure in the Harmonic Lattice
This paper proves that the Z7³ harmonic lattice — the 7×7×7 toroidal coordinate space developed by Jahbalon Research as the foundation of the Cubicum ecosystem — constitutes a Perfect 3D Latin Cube of order 7. The frequency function f(x,y,z) = 256·(3/2)^x·2^y·(7/4)^z assigns a unique real frequency to each of the 343 nodes. We prove analytically (via the Fundamental Theorem of Arithmetic over primes {2, 3, 7}) and verify exhaustively (exact rational arithmetic, Python) that: • All 343 frequencies are globally distinct• All 147 axis-aligned lines contain 7 distinct frequencies• All 21 axis-aligned planes contain 49 distinct frequencies• The three coordinate axes are pairwise frequency-orthogonal This coherence is emergent — it follows from the choice of three musically fundamental ratios (perfect fifth 3/2, octave 2/1, harmonic seventh 7/4) that involve three distinct primes. The lattice was not designed to be coherent; it is coherent by arithmetic necessity. Implications are drawn for Cubicum FS (toroidal filesystem where address = harmonic identity), ILYRIUM (stream cipher with collision-free keystream), and the broader Z7³ research program.
